3S Incorporated has recently worked on the following projects:
Kia Motors Manufacturing
- 3S Incorporated designed and installed the paint booth fire detection and suppression systems for Kia Motor Manufacturing's plant in West Point, Georgia. Optical flame detection, water deluge and unique CO2 systems work together to protect the plant personel and electrostatic painting equipment.
Allison Transmission
- 3S Incorporated replaced the plant wide fire alarm systems at Allison Transmission. The individual fire alarm panels were built to rugged industrial standards and are interconnected by an extensive fiber network. Several Workstations serve to monitor the entire network and provide detailed device information through an intuitive user interface.
New Indianapolis Airport Midfield Terminal
- 3S Incorporated installed all of the clean agent fire suppression systems in the New Indianapolis Airport Midfield Terminal. We utilized Ansul’s Sapphire system with 3M’s NOVEC 1230 fire suppression agent for an environmentally friendly solution to mission critical protection. In addition to the clean agent systems we also installed the detection and controls for the sprinkler systems protecting the baggage handling areas and atrium.
Honda Greensburg
- 3S Incorporated installed the controls and detection for the protection of the electrostatic painting operations at Honda in Greensburg IN. We are utilizing optical flame detection and Notifier addressable controls in custom build enclosures.
Toyota Woodstock
- 3S Incorporated is installing the controls and detection for the protection of the electrostatic painting operations at Toyota Woodstock, Ontario. We are utilizing optical flame detection and addressable controls in custom build enclosures.
North American Stainless
- Building on our industrial experience and capability, 3S Incorporated designed and is installing a Victaulic Vortex system for the protection of NAS’s pickling lines. In addition to the suppression system, 3S has developed a heat detector capable of operation even when subjected to fugitive vapor from the pickling operation.
IU Data Center
- 3S Incorporated is the prime fire protection contractor for the new IU Data Center. This 80,000 sq ft facility will be one of the largest of its kind when completed. 3S is responsible for the fire alarm, air sampling and sprinkler systems. The air sampling system will be one of the largest installed Vesda systems in the country when completed with 54 networked detectors and 10,000 ft of air sampling pipe.
